Information Analysis
|
- Most
organizations have a wealth of information about their
customers, products or services. But this information
tends to be distributed across numerous departments,
databases, and computer systems. While any one database
can be the starting point for Data Mining, there is
often considerable synergy in combining information
from multiple sources. For example, by mining sales
data combined with attitudinal measures and overall
category usage, detailed buyer profiles, and models
of the purchase dynamics can be generated.
